Enjoy the Process
It is the nature of thought and imagination to be faster than physical form, and what that means is that we will never arrive at our final destination in physical form. Instead we will take steps in that direction in an endless process of growth and discovery. As such, it is important to enjoy the process we are on with patience, compassion and humor: patience for our limitations, compassion for our own and other's mistakes, and humor at the absurdity of human behavior that so often appears heading in the wrong direction.
Love Ourselves
When we put our dreams aside in order to survive, we disconnect from who we truly are in order to get through another day. As our skill and grace develop and allow us to move beyond the limited definitions we use to describe ourselves in survival mode, we remember and wake up to who we truly are by consciously using our skills to embody more of our ideals in the world. This is called awakening, because as we do so the illusion of limitation, necessity and all the fears that are born from them naturally fall away, like nightmares at the dawn.
Celebrate and Honor Our Essence Now!
Many people feel cynicism, bitterness and resistant when confronted with the truth of their ideals, because it hurts to think about how far short we measure in the face of our magnificent potential. What really hurts is not seeing our potential, but feeling that we "should" be further along the path than we are. But that is just crazy. Everyone is exactly as far on the path as their skills of self-motivation and learning allow. And everyone is learning new skills as fast as their skill of motivating learning will allow. It simply slows us down to beat ourselves up.
Instead it is exciting and empowering on the endless human journey to get in touch with the energy NOW of who we truly are and are on our way to manifesting. While we will not experience all of our dreams in this lifetime, the world we do experience can be so much more beautiful, and our journey so much more relaxed and exciting when we know who we are and where we are going.

When we lose the shadow of doubt that marks our separation from our true magnificence, deep peace,
and joyful patience accompany our journey.
